Wowcher partners with charity to help children’s hospital

The e-commerce firm will donate part of purchases to Bristol Children’s Hospital charity The Grand Appeal.
The Grand Appeal, which supports Bristol Children’s Hospital, has linked up with e-commerce firm Wowcher for a fundraising push.
Wowcher, which includes offers on restaurants, spas and entertainment, has 140,000 Bristol subscribers.
Maxine Moustrides, Corporate Fundraiser at The Grand Appeal, said: “The 2% donations will make a huge difference to the lives of the brave babies, children, and their families that we meet every day at Bristol Children’s Hospital.”
“Whether it’s free family accommodation helping to keep families together at critical times, sensory play sessions for children with additional needs or vital medical equipment and research, the generosity from Wowcher and their customers will make a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for their amazing support.”
The charity is currently supporting more than 100 projects including accomadation for families of critically ill children, nursing and play specialists and help for bereaved families.
Wowcher offers that support The Grand Appeal are labelled on its website.

Previous fundraising by The Grand Appeal involved using contactless donation points using a Wallace and Gromit themed sculpture trail.
